 Dare CASADare CASA is a local non-profit concerned with the impact of substance abuse on our local community. CASA focuses on education, prevention, and providing information to the public to help raise awareness within our community here on The Outer Banks. GingerSnaps had the privilege of providing coverage for their 10th Anniversary Celebration in May of 2015. |  Taste of the BeachTaste of the Beach is a 4 day food and wine event hosted by The Outer Banks Restaurant Association every March. We've been the official photographer for this event in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2011, and 2010. Taste of the Beach is a great reason to come visit the Outer Banks in the off-season. |  Pics for PawsIn an effort to give back to the local community and support a cause that Gracie & I are close to (rescue pets), GingerSnaps Photography created Pics for Paws in 2013. A pet portrait day with all proceeds to benefit our local SPCA, we had a great time and were able to raise $500 for our local shelter! |

An annual participant since 2012, I'm always encouraged by the enthusiasm of the students and their great questions!!! |  Manteo High School Senior ShadowWhen the guidance councilor at Manteo High School contacted me to host a student shadow for their senior exit project, I had no idea what to expect or if I'd even be good at it. Since then I've had 3 seniors shadows, one of which took a summer position in the office here! It's been a rewarding experience and fun to help someone else find their calling like I've been so lucky to have done! |
